Alexandra Basirov | Global Head of Sustainable Finance, Financial Institutions Coverage, BNP Paribas

Alexandra Basirov has been the Global Head of Sustainable Finance for Financial Institutions at BNP Paribas since 2018. She was previously Head of Official Institutions coverage in the UK & Ireland, having joined BNP Paribas in 2006 to run the Supranational, Agency and Sovereign Debt platform across cash and derivative products coverage. Alexandra started her career in JPMorgan‘s M&A department subsequently working in the Debt Capital Markets team. She has a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and during 2018/19 she completed a Positive Impact Business programme designed by the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. She has been recognised numerous times by the industry as a rising star and a leading woman in finance featuring numerous times as FN100 Most Influential Women in European Finance.

Claire Iversenc | Head of Sustainability and Management Team member for Corporate Coverage EMEA, BNP Paribas

Claire is a seasoned banker with over 28 years of experience.  She has worked in various structured finance business lines to meet the needs of Corporate Clients in emerging markets and for the last six years, Claire has developed BNP Paribas’ sustainability franchise for Corporate Clients in EMEA.  This sustainability franchise is focused around three pillars: accompanying clients in their sustainability journey, assessing the ESG risks they face, and creating a sustainability culture among our 800+ team of bankers located across 34 countries.  Claire is also a Board member of ClimateSeed, the social business entity of BNP Paribas related to carbon compensation.

Cécile Moitry | Co-Head of Sustainable Finance Markets, BNP Paribas CIB

With over 15 years of experience in sustainable finance and in infrastructure and energy financing, Cécile Moitry is co-heading the Sustainable Finance Markets team and global head of CSR Analysis & Advisory for BNP Paribas CIB. Within her role, Cécile liaises with the various business lines within CIB, CIB clients, CSR teams and various third parties to help structure, co-create and develop Green and Sustainable financing. Moreover, the newly created team offers comprehensive solutions for clients across the debt-financing spectrum, to better support their sustainability transition.

Björn Claussen | Regional Head of Multinational Coverage Central Europe, BNP Paribas

Björn has joined BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking in 2013 in Hamburg, Germany.
Since 2018 he is Regional Head of Multinational Coverage Central Europe, based in Hungary. In his current position he manages teams of Relationship Managers responsible for the coverage of the local subsidiaries of international corporates in nine countries.
In the last 10 years of his banking career Björn was in charge of many clients in the renewable energy sector. In his role as sustainability multiplier he has fostered and developed the sustainability discussion with stakeholders and with clients. He has been speaker at several events within his mission to raise the knowledge and awareness of sustainable finance in Central Europe.
